us Senate accused the Red CrossThe US Senate Commission releases official information document on the activities of the International Committee of the red cross. The project questioned the impartiality and neutrality of the position of the organization in matters concerning the policy of the United States. The Commission considers that the actions of the ICRC does not always fit into the framework of humanitarian missions and often move into the political sphere, while taking pronounced anti-American orientation. This particularly relates to the treatment of prisoners of war at Guantanamo Bay, the conduct of hostilities in Iraq and the problem of the prohibition of biological weapons.
